  Chief Minister’s Message

Education is not only the fundamental right but also the need of every citizen of Pakistan. In fact it is the prime responsibility of the government to equip its youth with the ornament of education. The present government has determined to deliver the educational facilities at the doorsteps of the masses. Education is such ingredient without which the advancement and development of nation can not be visualized.
At present, the private educational institutions are serving the nation in providing education with an exceptional regular strength. They have developed the criteria and medium of education all over the country. I speculate the National College of sciences (NCS) has such specific purpose to spread the education professionally whth the present day advanced educational facilities.

The maxim that pen is mightier than the sword is indicative of the fact that eduction is the dire need of the day. Education plays a prominent role in the social and moral aggrandizement of a country. Unless and until a nation is better enlightened, it is unable to cope with the challenges of the present day world. NWFP government is well aware of this fact and is paying special heed to the cause f education. It is not only the public sector but also the private sector that have contributed a good deal in educating and enlightening our youth. We have encouraged the private sector exclusive in the field of education and we are very happy because of their positive response. The National College of Sciences being a private institute has earned charming name and fame among the institutions of the private sector. I wish NCS a bright future.

I am immensely pleased to know that NCS has started MBA and BBA Classes in affiliation with university of Peshawar. I congratulate the students, faculty and staff of National College of Sciences & Business Management on this auspicious occasion

Education can play pivotal role in the national development, because economic prosperity, political stability and social development are inextricably linked with scientific and technological advancement.

Pakistan has a unique demographic advantage. Nearly Two-third of our population consists of young people. This human endowment is a great asset which has the potential and promise for present progress and future growth. We need to make full use of this talent pool.

Today’s world is growing more global, complex and interconnected. To be successful, the future leaders in all fields will have to think and act in a broader perspective.

I hope and pray that National College of Sciences & Business Management will do its utmost in preparing dynamic leaders, enterprising managers, innovative researchers and above all, responsible citizens motivated to serve the country and humanity.

In this knowledge-based millennium what distinguished a quality education institution from an ordinary one is its capacity to create new knowledge and its ability to transfer its application and innovations into marketable products in order to generate wealth and contribute towards national development.

It gives me immense pleasure to record my views for an institute which aims to get higher standard in the field of education. National College of Sciences and Business Management has been busy in equipping the young minds since its establishment in 2008. It is extending help to knowledge seekers of the deprived region and developing their skills and expertise.

John F. Kennedy has said, “Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation.

I am pleased to know that the NCS provides a peaceful, effective and conducive environment to students preparing them for upcoming challenges.

I wish NCS continued success in providing quality education.

“The first step in learning is the development of an open and independent mind. The spirit of critical enquiry is the basis of scientific progress. The pursuit of knowledge requires a non-dogmatic approach. These fundamentals of education are not always politically or culturally acceptable in the west, in the developing world, their acceptability sometimes verges on the impossible. Yet one must endeavors and I feel in all modesty that National College of Sciences and Business Management strives to make this endeavor.”

National College of sciences and Business Management aims to equip its students with the knowledge and tools they need to participate meaningfully in the 21st century, not only scientific and mathematical knowledge, and not only a confident command of Management and commerce, but also the ability to analyze, to think rationally, to be imaginative as well as skeptical.

A good educational institution removes blinkers and opens up the world for its students, whilst also teaching respect for traditional values, and consider action for others’ feelings and beliefs. Students are led to an awareness of poverty and injustice, to develop a sense of fairness and good will, and to attain good results. This was the philosophy behind the establishment of National College of sciences & Business Management in 2008.

Principal, National College of Sciences & Business Management
