Eligibility

ENTRANCE TEST AND DETERMINATION OF MERIT:

All the candidates who have obtained at least 50% unadjusted marks in their F. Sc (Pre-Medical) examination or equivalent foreign examination are eligible to sit in the Entrance Test.

I. The test will be held in the following subjects of F. Sc (Pre-Medical)

a.            Physics                 b.            Chemistry

c.             Biology                 d.            English

ii. Weight-age for preparation of final merit list will be as under:

                Adjusted marks in F. Sc or  equivalent examination                                   50%

                Entrance Test                                                                                        40%

The Entrance Test paper will be of MCQs type and will consist of

a.            Biology                                 60 Questions

b.            Chemistry                             60 Questions

c.             Physics                               60 Questions

d.            English                                 20 Questions

The Entrance Test will be from the entire F. Sc course in the above mentioned subjects except for English.

iii. The pass percentage in the Entrance Test will be 40% and any candidate who fails to qualify the Entrance Test will not be considered for admission. The result of the test is valid for the current academic year only.

iv. A candidate qualifying the Entrance Test and cannot claim admission unless he / she fulfills the other criteria specified in this admission policy.

3. Age:

Maximum age limit of the candidate is 25-Years. There will be no lower age limit. The age will be reckoned on the closing date of the receipt of application forms for admission. According to the final merit list whenever who candidates are bracketed equal on the merit list, the one having the better marks in the Entrance Test will be preferred over the other
